How far in advance shouodl I book?

Anywhere between 4 months to a year is ideal. You'll typically want other vendors like a venue and florist booked before you come to us, and have a good idea of your event's style, theme, colours, etc.

Can we book a consultation? How far in advance should I book? 

Yes! You are welcome to book a time to come in to discuss what you're looking for- we are typically available Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 11am-4pm.

How about sampling flavours?

We make all our cupcakes and cakes with the same recipes and ingredients, so we recommend ordering some mini cupcakes to try. You can find the flavour options here: https://www.sweetbakery.ca/cupcakes. You can order these to take home, or to try at the same time as a consultation.

Do you deliver?

We typically deliver within approximately a 45 minute radius from our bakery. We also offer setup if needed. We will work with you and your venue to choose the ideal time for delivery.

What if I want flowers on my cake?

Fresh flowers are a gorgeous way to finish a cake design. We typically recommend asking your florist to provide extra blossoms that we can add on delivery. If that's not an option, we can provide and arrange flowers, or you can drop off flowers in advance for us to add.

How does booking work?

Once you decide that one of our cakes will be the perfect way to finish your event, we will require a deposit of 50% of the total (if final numbers/details are not yet confirmed, we will estimate). At that time, we will confirm as many details as possible and follow up as needed. The final balance will be due 2 weeks before the event.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We offer gluten-free-friendly, eggless and vegan cakes and cupcakes. We are not a nut-free facility so can't guarantee against cross-contamination.
